On the day of your initial consultation we will perform a diagnostic ultrasound on both legs to determine what is causing your leg problems. The ultrasound is painless and is done here in our office while you are both laying and standing. The testing usually takes around one hour. After the testing, you will meet with Dr. Jones to discuss the results of the ultrasound. A complete history and physical will be done. Then, options regarding your treatment will be discussed. Plan on being in our facility up to two hours.

For all varicose vein problems, Dr. Jones, as well as the majority of insurance companies suggest and require the following Conservative Therapy Measures:

Each Insurance company has different medical policies related to the length of time for Conservative Therapy. You may speak with our staff regarding the medical policy for your particular insurance.

We accept most insurance companies within this region. Please note we will file your visits through your insurance company. However, you are ultimately responsible for any amount that insurance does not pay. You may speak with our staff, and we will gladly give you the information you need to contact you insurance company before your consultation. Some insurance plans consider the ultrasound a diagnostic procedure. If this is the case, your insurance will put this amount towards your deductible if applicable. That is why it is helpful to understand your policy before your visit.
